Through a federal grant administered through the WV Department of Health and Human Resources, the WV Prevention Resource Center coordinates the implementation of annual tobacco retailer inspections mandated by federal Synar regulation. This website contains an overview of the Synar regulation, copies of inspection results, and information about past and present efforts relative to Synar compliance and other tobacco prevention/enforcement efforts in West Virginia.
